Born in Peja, Kosovo in 1992, Erblin discovered their passion for acting at the age of ten. It was a calling that ignited their creative spirit and set them on a path of artistic exploration. In 2010, fortune smiled upon Erblin's family as they won the Green Card Lottery, granting them the opportunity to immigrate to the United States. Driven by a deep love for the craft, Erblin pursued their higher education at George Mason University, where they embarked on a journey to refine their skills and knowledge in the world of film. With a focus on directing and a minor in photography, Erblin earned their B.A., laying the foundation for their future accomplishments.
During their time at George Mason University, Erblin's talent and dedication shone through in their thesis film, BINI. The film garnered critical acclaim, winning multiple jury prizes and audience awards. It also received recognition at the Regional Student Emmy Awards and was nominated for a prestigious Student Academy Award, cementing Erblin's place among emerging talents in the industry. Fueled by their artistic drive and ambition, Erblin recently finished their debut feature film, titled "I Love You More." This project was funded from the Kosovo Cinematography Center and the Albanian National Cinematography Center. Returning to Kosovo, Erblin has established their own production company, Tilia Entertainment LLC, through which they produce compelling short & feature films. It is through this platform that Erblin seeks to amplify diverse voices and tell stories that resonate with audiences. They understand the power of representation and strive to create inclusive narratives that reflect the lived experiences of marginalized communities. Beyond their cinematic pursuits, Erblin has found another outlet for self-expression and escapism as a professional drag queen known as Adelina Rose. In the vibrant and dynamic world of drag, they explore and celebrate the freedom to fully express their identity and indulge in a worry-free fantasy. Embracing the stage with charisma and grace, Adelina Rose captivates audiences and serves as a beacon of empowerment and self-acceptance. Erblin's commitment to social progress and advocacy is further evidenced by their involvement with queer organizations and events. Notably, they collaborate with a queer organization on various initiatives, including the remarkable "Inside Four Walls" production. As the writer and star of this play, Erblin brings together members of the community, including trans individuals, drag kings, and non-binary performers, showcasing the power of representation and the celebration of diversity. With an unwavering dedication to their craft and a profound understanding of the importance of storytelling, Erblin's multifaceted artistic journey encompasses filmmaking, drag performance, and social activism. Their work strives to break barriers, challenge stereotypes, and create a world where every individual's voice is heard and celebrated.
