I’m a filmmaker based in Prishtina, Kosovo, focused on intimate, character-driven stories that explore emotional isolation, memory, and existential themes through a poetic and minimalist lens. Since 2020, I’ve directed over 30 music videos and several short films and documentaries, shaping a visual style that blends realism with experimental and psychological elements. I am particularly drawn to stories that unfold between reality and dream, silence and noise, clarity and ambiguity. Influenced by both classical and contemporary auteurs, I aim to create films that evoke inner worlds and emotional depth more than plot resolution.
Alongside directing, I’ve been working as an editor since 2013, and since 2019 I’ve handled the editing and post-production for numerous artistic projects, including my own films. My latest short, Chronicles of Sonatine or: Shadows of the Broken Memories, explores trauma and identity across a chapter-based structure. Previous works include Moonshine (2022), Isekai (2021), and Knockout (2020), each engaging with themes of inner turmoil and personal transformation.
My goal is to contribute to a new wave of Kosovar cinema rooted in personal vision and emotional honesty. I am always open to collaborating with creatives who value depth, sincerity, and the craft of filmmaking.
